People refer the bolt of strength of 8.8 or above, made of low-carbon alloy steel or medium carbon steel and with heat-treatment, to high-strength bolts. Wheel bolts are high-strength screws,and vehicles at different models and load capacity match with bolts of different strength. Of these,Grade 10.9 is the most common wheel bolt, and bolt at Grade 8.8 is generally for low-end models, while bolt at Grade 12.9 usually matches with heavy-duty truck.
Wheel bolt usually consist of bolt and nut,and washer is needed for some models.As per its structure, it can be divided in to single-head bolt and double-head bolt. Generally speaking, the vast majority of cars nowadays use single-head bolt, and double-head bolt are for small and medium-sized trucks.
